How would that affect the course of the U.S. Presidency?

Would this affect your life in any way?

Would it really make a difference if he was a really good President?

I think it would be good to open doors for new answers. It would make me happy. Well if he wasn't a good Prez people would blame Islam. However, if he was Good then what would people say about Islam?

if he turned out to be a muslim then all the muslims in America would be happy rather he was a good muslim or a bad muslim by this i mean a muslim who does not follow the five pillars of islam VS a muslim who does
well like someone mentioned earlier if he was a bad Pres. then they would blame his religion but if he was a good Pres. then more people would look into Islam (hopefully)
i think alot of Americans would be disappointed if he was a muslim due to 9/11 and since most people believe it was muslims fault they would think he would not uphold the investigation for 9/11
noori : )

It wouldn't make a difference to me if he was a really good president.

BUT...if he lies about what he really is just to get elected, then I would say that he would lose the trust of millions of people who would have voted for him.

And while that might not affect my life, it would affect the way I viewed him.

And as far as affecting the course of the presidency...lying about who he really is would be just another black mark against an office that is already full of black marks.

It would affect peoples acceptance, exspecially if he does great things for our country.

I cannot say how it would affect my life,
since my family is military every presidancy effects my life,

because of clinton, the hospital I was born at, and went to regularly was closed.

Because of Bush I've lost a father and a brother.

i hope the next one effects my life in a good way.

No it would not affect my life in any way if he were the best qualified candidate for the presidency then he should be president. I do not look at the religion of a candidate only their political acumen.

Nostradamus predicted which you're able to get time tables incorrect and have faith this conspiracy concept, yet he claimed that your call could be Ketalyn...you spot purely 2 letters off. And in case you upload the kind 2 to the kind of letters on your call, you get 9 and in case you record the letters separate, you get 9-one million-one million. WOW!!!!! i'm no Obama supporter, yet stable grief, that's absurd.

Of course not. This country was built on the foundations of religious freedom. Our founding fathers would be rolling in their graves if they discovered that we, as Americans, would dissapprove of a president on the basis of his religion, 911 or not. This is about FREEDOM...if he decides he wants to convert, that is his personal choice and he is fully entitled to it as an American citizen and a human being, president or not. Wonderful question :-) :-) :-)

PS: I fully agree with abetterfate's out of curiousity comment!!!! That is more disturbing...

Although he should not lie about who or what he is - why should the question even need to be asked?

If the man is worth electing (and I believe he is) he is worth electing regardless of religion, ethnic background, or gender.

(Out of curiousity, did anyone ask Bush about "Skull and Bones" before either of his elections? That is much, much more worrying than a Muslim president)

I think if he was able to keep his religion out of his politics (unlike some presidents) it would be fine, although I think this is a pretty darn big ruse if he really is muslim. He's been going to christian church for like ever.

He would be the first president who wasn't Christian (and YES catholics ARE Christians)

It would be mind opening for the American people, to start having diversity in the executive branch
