I've been talking to this guy for like 3 weeks. Every weekend we end up going out and doing something (movies, dinner). So on Friday he asked me if I wanted to go dancing on Saturday. I was going to be out of town for most of the day so I was just like can we go another time. So on Saturday night he calls but i didn't answer becuse I was at a friends house and I didn't want to be rude. So I texted him apologizing for missing his call. He never text back. I didn't here from him Sunday and I texted him today to see how his weekend went. I still haven't heard from him yet. My friend thinks he's mad at me for not answering his call on Saturday night. Is she right?? Do guys have a problem when the girl they are talking don't answer??

if he does then lose him - you shouldn't be at his beck n call. it's perfectly alright to have a life without the person you are dating. if he's mad then it's his problem don't make it yours

You needed to be upfront that your meeting with your gal friend was planned many weeks ago (or whatever) and then explained that you really wished you could have been out with him instead - that way his ego would have gotten stroked - sorry but you blew it. He will never call again because he thought you were like all the rest who have hurt him saying yes for now but then leaving a dead or ambiguous trail. Don't do it again next time you meet someone or the same thing will happen then too. Guys are ready to admit defeat with two or three small bumps in the road - they'd prefer to be hermits than failures, and to him you not answering made him a failure in his mind because if he were even reasonably desirable you would have answered, so your not answering gave him the signal that he is a failure. Maybe it's stupid, but that's guys for you.

i think u should take it easy, some guys r just this way and dont talk a lot...i send my guy friends emails which they dont always answer or barely do but when u c them in person they r totally different and dont ignore u....u had the right to have other plans for the evening and if he was mature enough he woulda been cool with it. if he does happen to be mad then its not ur fault-just kno ur dealing with a very imature friend here and dont blame yourself or panic. All this drama is sooo unnecessary. Dont talk to him or do anything about it, he probably has other things on his mind right now or is busy, wait it out a few days.

The way I see it you did the right thing. Guys might not like it but telling a white lie occasionally makes things run smoother. Now, he is most definitely mad at you for ignoring his call but to be honest, holding a grudge over something small like this is just stupid. Think of what he will do if you actually committed a more serious violation...
As far as guys go...they get possessive and they get jealous and they don't like it when you ignore their effort. (he probably didn't miss any of your calls ever right?) Anyways, I got a creepy feeling when I read your question and something tells me that you are better off staying away from him unless he calls today and explains himself and apologizes. Cos this big deal he's making over such small thing makes me think that he's overpossessive; and let me tell you from my own experience...you don't want that kind of guy in your life!

Well he may be busy and hasnt had time to call you back, OR yea, he may be upset or thinks that you are playing with him. It is VERY rude for someone to call and you dont pick- It is insulting, and he has no way of knowing whether you intentionally didnt answer(which you did) or that you genuinely missed his call. Call him, dont just text him. If you like him and want to have a r/shipw with him, just call the guy and apologize..then take it from there.

I dont really think he's mad. He probably didnt get your text and is too "afraid" to call thinking that maybe you aren't interested. It's always for some stupid reason that we worry over the most. Call him and if he acts all stush just let him know that his time just passed.

lol, i aint tryin to be racist or nothin, yet im wite and that i prefer white and latin or maybe asian females. ive met some valuable black females, yet a number of em tend to be loud and obnoxious (no longer sterotyping or nothig, i provide all and sundry a honest possibility). tat being stated, theres lots of wite and all varieties of girls i cant stand. race many times aint somethin particular i seek for in a woman.

He might be the jealous type and be upset that you were with someone else. It's not right for him to feel like that, but it could be the case. Or he could be busy himself, who knows. Talk with him.

well, if you don't tell them that you will call or talk to them then i don't have a problem, and if he gets mad about something simple like that, then chances are you don't want anything to do with him
