Knoell ~
Nope. He's still fighting hoping to regain the Heavyweight Championship of the World. I watched a tape of his last fight against Vinny Maddolne. That's how I know.
Thanks for the question Knoell.

No he is NOT retired and has never actually retired. After several losses a couple of years ago The boxing commision revoked his license in some states but he complained that he only lost those matches due to a shoulder injury and not allowing himself to properly heal. He is still able to fight in certain states and has fought in Texas the last couple times beating Vinny Maddalone (27-3) March 17 and Fres Oquendo (26-3) in November of last year. He is determined to gain the heavyweight title once again.

I saw him boxing in 1990 and he was 26 then it means he is now 43 and mind you there's been only one player who came back to the ring , after long time in retirement, and that was George Foreman. I did not read any news or saw it on TV but its obvious he is no more boxing.

no, he is on a comeback tour, go to boxrec.com and search his name, it will show you all of his fights (including ones this year) and it will show his scheduled fights (if he has any actually scheduled)
