Hi there, I believe a flesh tattoo is called a scar tattoo. I don't think it could cover a black tattoo however.
I had a black tattoo done on my ankle, but I was able to cover it up with a bigger one of a colored butterfly, and now you can't even see the black anymore. I had a very skillful tattoo artist. It took about 3 hours for him to do, and it was painful, but totally worth it in the end, and my tattoo is still beautiful about 3 years after he did it.
I highly recommend going to see one that you trust. You can usually get a consultation with one, they charge for them, but most of them will put the cost of a consultation towards the cost of the tattoo. (mine did) My cover-up tattoo cost about $150, even my mom liked it, and she is VERY conservative.
Good luck!!

You could do it, but it won't work. Our skin changes colour through the year, and the colour of the tattoo wouldn't, so you'd have an odd patch.
You could see if a white tattoo would work to cover it, the colour difference might be offset enough. However laser is best.

there are nude colored inks but it is used to hilight or create a slight effect it is not meant to cover up anything. generally no color will cover up black. sometimes depending on how dark the black is it can be tinted another color with an equally dark ink like midnight blue or a deep maroon. to "remove" the tattoo you will have to have laser treatments done which isn't the same as surgery but it is expensive and very painful.

I saw a really cool tatoo that was done in all white, but when it healed it almost looked skin colored. I don't think anything covers up black though.

Unfortunately, the ink is under the skin and there's no way to inject flesh color ink over the old ink.

you should just try to change the tattoo or add on to it. Make it into something you like....and something you are going to want to keep so you dont end up with the same problem. Good luck.

Won't work, sorry. The cells are already stained with the ink. You could add white, I guess, but that would make a gray mess.
