Has anyone read the book "taking charge of your fertility" by Toni W.? If so did the information help you?
Thanx.

I have read teh book. The information was very helpful to me when I was interested in getting pregnant, but not so much now that I am interested in NOT getting pregnant again.

The premise of her book (getting to know the natural feminine functions of your body) is great. Too often these days, we rarely look beyond the symptoms to see the real cause of problems and try to solve everything with medication. This book will teach you a new way of thinking about your body so that you can better understand it.

I have two notes of caution. If you are not looking to become pregnant, I would recommend that you take the information from this book with a grain of salt. If you don't follow the fertility tracking to a "T" (such as taking your temp as soon as you wake up at the same time each morning) you may misread some of your body's signs and wind up pregnant. If you are looking to become pregnant with the help of this book, I still recommend that you take this information with a grain of salt. When I was trying to conceive (or TTC, as followers of this book refer to it), I read it very carefully and followed all the advice but was TERRIBLY disappoionted when month after month went by with no pregnancy. It is not a cookbook, and results aren't garaunteed just by following the formula. Don't live your life according to your thermometer!

Whatever your goal in reading this book, best wishes to you!

I really found it awesome to learn how my body works. Helps teach you to chart temp & cervical mucous to see when you can conceivee.

I recommend it. Good website too.
