Home remedy for severe headache for past 4 months
From: Kanika
Question: I have severe pain in my head I have been having this pain since 4 months now It has not gone even for a single day. It feels like tightening around the head. My neck and legs also hurt. I got all tests done but all the reports came back normal. Can you suggest some home remedy for headache that would help me?
Ans: Headaches can develop for a number of reasons usually they can be related to some obvious cause such as sinusitis, eyestrain, fatigue or tension. The majority of the headaches are due to stress or worries with muscle spasms in the neck leading to headache. Crush onion and apply the paste on the head. Or roast some ajwain dry on the tawa and tie it in a muslin cloth and sniff frequently.

A person can get headaches & also, pain in their arms & legs, from their neck or back being misaligned. Go to a chiropracter. For temporary relief, you could take Excedrin or Excedrin Migraine specifically made for migraine headaches, which is an over- the-counter pain reliever that works better than anything on the market & has ALWAYS removed any headaches that I've had. If that doesn't work, prayer works. Go to a church that believes in God's miraculous healing & ask them to pray for you to be healed. I'll be praying for you.

I take acidophilus daily, when I first started taking it, I noticed that my 'daily' headache disappeared. I did some research and found out that acidophilus does help with headaches (as well as a gammet of other stuff:)). Try that! I take 2-3 a day depending on if I had wine the night before:).

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck.
Headaches can be caused by minor problems
like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more serious reasons
like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can
have harmful side effects, so it is better to
modify your lifestyle. More information available at

The best thing that you should get for tooth ache. Is clove oil It tastes like crap. It really does But nothing and I mean nothing numbs the pain like Clove oil. You should be able to get it at your local chemist.(Or health shop) Just take a finger or piece of cotton wool and drench it in clove oil. Place on the affected tooth. It will not cure it. But it will definitely numb the pain. Better than any pill. Better than booze (Brandy at killing tooth ache) It should not affect your Baby. The best part is you can use it as often as needed (Even if it is every few hours) and no side affects

Please go to the doctor. If doctor clears you, you can always try caffeinated products to relieve headaches.
