I am happy with my life as I have a wonderful family, a challenging job and a roof above my head what more do I really need.
I am an agnostic, raised christian spent many years as a Wiccan. I just came to realize that there is no way to prove deities - either for or against so that is why I choose a path with no religion and no deities - I prefer the humanity around me.

Yes, I'm very happy with the way my life is going right now. I know there are things I need to change about my self, and I'm striving to change them so I can be a better person. I don't think anyone can say that they are totally satisfied with life, I'm sure everyone has a wish about what they could change, be it more money, or more knowledge or whatever. But in the most part, I'm very happy with my life, and my children are great!! They show me every day that faith is important and something that we shouldn't take for granted. I understand my faith so much better now because of them.
I do think that if you aren't happy with life in general, no matter what area in life you are unhappy with, it spills to all other areas. I don't think it really matters if you really believe in your religion or not. Although, religion can play a roll in helping you feel better about your life if you let it. If you have questions about your faith, or it isn't the one for you, you should take the time to learn of some others and then decide what is right for you.

I was born into a fundamentalist Catholic family and HATED it. I felt as though I was devalued and put down because I was a girl, and chafed under the idea that women were responsible for original sin and had to go through painful childbirth as some kind of punishment. I also didn't like the rules about no birth control, no sterilization even if you know you could pass on horrible hereditary conditions, no abortion, no sex before marriage, all married women HAVE to be willing to have kids, etc.
As a childfree feminist, I could not remain Catholic and be happy and contented, or feel understood or validated in life. So I left, and now consider myself agnostic or secular humanist.
I'm also 100% happier, and live in a wonderful marriage of equals where my contributions are valued, and not taken for granted.

Yes, I am perfectly happy with the way my life and the religion I have chosen. I think in most cases, yes, if you are unhappy with your religion, you will be unhappy in life... as most people try to incorporate their religion into their life (or vise versa - turn their life into that particular religion).
There are too many answers to list here. One of the biggest answers I got didn't come from any religion (or no religion), it didn't come from a person or a book... but it made me realize that religion, as a whole, is man-made and can't be relied upon to give the Truth, as such. But being Pagan gives me a lot more room to go beyond what is considered "set beliefs" of any given religion, even Pagan paths themselves. And it certainly doesn't threaten anyone's well-being.

I am very happy with my life but my religion is another story. While I consider myself an atheist, I find that I am constantly questioning my beliefs, or the lack thereof. I might read something one day that makes me believe then revert back again the next day. This only happens once every two to three months so I wouldn't call myself an agnostic. Actually, I am very uncomfortable with the whole idea of labeling people because of their beliefs...

I am a Mormon and I like to drink and smoke but just because I like those things does not make it the right for me to go into a religion that allows or harbors the things that I like.
I have found that the hardest change is usually the right one.
My questions that were answered are
Why are the spiritual reasons for non substance abuse?
How can you prove that you carry the Melchezidic priesthood as in the bible?
Why do we need temples?
What is the purpose of life?
Where do we go when we die beyond the obvious heaven or hell?
How can these things be prooved to me or confirmed in my heart?

I am very happy with my life. I was born catholic and now that I have given it up, i feel better than ever. I consider myself a free thinker and a spritiual athiest (a term defined by another user here that had the same thoughts on the world I do). Religion was restricting my thought. It told me only to accept what others told me without question. Since I am free of that religious prision, i feel better than ever, and I am learning more about myself and the world than ever before.

My choice is entirely satisfactory to me, as I can demonstrate that it is correct, which no theist can do. Religion is only a part of one's life, and there is not a necessary connection between satisfaction with religion and satisfaction with the rest of one's existence. Atheism is not what I grew up with -- it was what I adopted when, at the age of 8, I realized that the biblical tales could not be conformed to science, and since science is obviously right (it works!), the bible had to go. I have since examined the Qur'an and the Book of Mormon; both have errors.
