I have been reading up alot on diet pills, I am planning on trying some (after my cousin trys them first to see how they work) and I notice almost everyone answers the same "DONT DO IT THEY ARE SO BAD FOR YOU" The thing is, we know this. But some of us are willing to take that chance. Some of us are willing to go to extreme measures. If I had the money I would get the fat sucked right out of me. Hell, if I could get away with it I would take speed. I know its not healthy, but neither is being over weight.

Now, my question is this, We hear alot about how the diet pills dont work and how they are bad for you. But I am sure there are sucess stories out there as well. Does anyone have a sucess story from using some kind of diet pill? Of course exercise and what not is needed as well, but anything that helped supress your appetite, or boost your energy?

Xenadrine helped me control my appetite... however, I don't think they make the same product anymore now with the big ephedra ban... some people have to ruin it for everyone.

In normal doses, ephedra is not harmful... just when you abuse it or have a heart condition.

Other ones I've taken (all ephedra free) have helped somewhat... like SlimQuick, Hydroxycut and TrimSpa... but they seem to wear off quickly :(... I'm interested to see if any have helped anyone too...

Hope that helps!

If you want your appetite suppressed, you should try Hoodia. It's not dangerous like diet pills (yes, I went there! lol), but it still does the job. There aren't any stimulants in it, so you don't have to worry about your heart crapping out on you. I've used Hoodia before; basically what it does is it takes away the physical symptoms of hunger....so you COULD eat if you felt like it, but you really don't feel like you NEED to eat. I like it a lot! If you put your focus on cutting back your calories and exercising a lot more, you could lose SO much weight, and your body would respond so much better than if you were to use diet pills. Just give it a try and see what happens.

NONE that I tried worked for me (well, except for one back in the 80s - but it has long since been taken off the market - believe me, I've looked!). The only thing that is working for me now is being on Lexapro (antidepressant). It is helping me with my appetite and energy levels. I've been on other antidepressants before, but none did this! Don't fall for the hype of Hoodia or any of the pills you see on TV. They DO NOT work!!! They do NOTHING!!! Go see a psychiatrist or your doctor and see about getting on Lexapro. Also, try OA (overeaters anonymous) meetings to help with support. Good luck! :)

Take one or two capsules of Charge and then exercise. It gives you crazy energy. Even your eyeballs will buzz. Just don't miss the exercise session or even cut it short, or you won't be able to sleep...for a couple of days. You can't get the really unhealthy kind with ephedra anymore. Poor you. But as one of the side effects was death, that's probably a good thing.

Fat doesn't accumulate over night, it takes years. So why does everyone feel so differently about losing it? Why would you put yourself at risk with something that is physically draining that also won't last, rather than taking a longer healthy route? You should be considered about you as a whole, rather than looks alone.
