First boxing is one of the dirtiest sports if its even considered a sport. Second when gambling is involved you cant almost assume that there is invested interest in a lose or win. If something seems strange or out of the ordinary the fix is in. Boxing has been under investigation for a while so, where theres smoke theres fire.

The above answer is absurd. I was at the last hopkins taylor fight and taylor was the favorite, so to accuse hopkins of throwing the fight is just plain dumb. The reason he lost those two fights is that he started to slow and came on too late in the fight to score enough points for the decision. Some say it was because of his conditioning and they have a point, as he hired Macky Shilstone for the Tarver fight and he was well conditioned and in just plain better shape for that fight.

Styles make fights and Tarver wasn't as agressive as Taylor.

He did in the first fight he was not given the victory like most who observed it did. Remember Marvin Hagler lost to Sugar Ray after holding the title for so long and promoting himself. Same scenario fighter who has worn out his welcome i.e..Dela Hoya, Larry Holmes.
