You know, there was a time when I wanted to learn Dutch, but the resources were scarce, so my parents told me to learn German first and then it'd be really easy to learn Dutch. So I did that, and now I've lost all interest in Dutch and I only learn German! Maybe you could try the library or bookstore for self-teaching books/CDs. Or, if you have the money and resources, you could make a trip to the Netherlands and gather some newspapers/books there to learn from. I had to study abroad in Austria in order to fully master German.

attend a function at a local dutch association... they have social groups everywhere.

go to an nl. newsgroup... great source of friends with whom you can converse. you might even find someone in your area.

visit holland again!

and, the best way to brush up on your language skills: date/marry a dutch person. it's a surefire way to learn.

the best way to learn is to immerse yourself in the language again. reading it either online or wherever is great for tweaking your skills but it's through immersion (speaking) that you will really get right back in the swing of it.

alle beste wensen!
