Everyone is welcome to come to church, praise God & hear the Word of God preached.

When a gay person comes to Christ, confessing Jesus Christ their Lord & Savior, and has heart faith in the atonement & resurrection, that person is born of God, Gods Way. God looks at the heart of a person when confessing. When a person is born of God, born of His Spirit, cleansed by His Blood, joint Heirs with King Jesus, part of the family of God; that person enters the fold of the Good Shepherd.

Of the early church, many of them used to be gay also. But when we are born of God, the old man dies, His blood washes away sins, and the new man in Christ alive forever more.

To attract the gay community, Christians have to let those who are gay know that God loves them sooo much. Give them a salvation tract, invite them to church, etc.

If what you are really asking is "What... bring a homosexual into Christianity, or faith... or knowledge of Christ." I would have to say... be a friend, a real friend, without an agenda, and let the Holy Spirit speak to their hearts through your genuine love for them as a human being.

Be kind, actions speak louder than words and a friend in need is a friend indeed. Now if your friend is dissed by you because you couldn't get them to join your fold, then it was phony and it's not a true way to make a friend.

If "into the fold" you mean accepting Christ, that's already their decision to make. Proceed with love and humility.

If "into the fold" you mean "curing them of their sin-sick homosexual life" -- then the problem is with your assumption that all Christians need to be just like you, and that homosexuality is a temptation that God has given him/her to overcome. Homosexuality is no more a "choice" that gays have made than heterosexuality is a "choice" you made. Do not proceed at all.

The only thing anyone can do is pray for them. As messengers, we are told to simply "put the bug in their ears and let God do the rest". Of course, I am paraphrasing the scripture. But the bottom line is no one can change anyone unless that person wants to change. And even then, we can only do so much and the rest is left for God to handle....
