You need to be 5'9 ( 175 cm) to become a model, but i think 5'8 would be fine too.
On the Elite Model Management, there are the model height guidlines:
Girls 13-15 who are at least 5'7" (170 cm)
Girls 16 and older who are 5'9 (175 cm) to 6'0" (183 cm)
*A tip on growing taller is to drink plenty of milk and to get enough sleep because the milk help your bones grow and your body grows when you are sleeping.
I think you will get taller depending on when you got your period. Within the 2 - 3 years after you got it, you body slows down on growing, but you can still grow a couple more inches. I'm 14 years old and I'm only 5'4 tall, but my dad is 5'11 like yours and my mom is 5'6. I got my period last summer when I was 13 and I was only 5'2" tall. So, I think you will grow taller because your dad is really tall, you'll probably be really tall too. Be happy with your height if you don't grow to be 5'8, I would do anything to be 5'6''. Good Luck <3 Don't worry so much ! You'll grow =]

If you're a girl, girls usually only grow 2 years past the time they first start menstruating. I know I got a 2" kick from 5'6" to 5' 8" in that time period. So depending on when you started your period, you might still have a window in which you're reaching your height potential. However, your height is genetic there isn't anything(apart from surgery) someone can do to change it--if you're supposed to be 5'6", then that's what you're going to be, and your height isn't necessarily going to be determined by only your parents height.

Give it time your still growing, your 16 so your body is not fully matured. You still may hit the 5'8 mark. However there are a lot of models that are shorter than 5'8"
