QUESTIONS:
Do you think he likes me?
Did I do the right thing when I let him know?
If you do think he likes me, why won't he admit it?
Why did he lie about not looking at me?
What should I do next?

DETAILS:
He stares at me all the time. He's been staring since the first week of school.
I asked a friend to ask him if he likes me. He said no. Then, I asked him why he stares if he doesn't like me. He said he doesn't. (I know he said that because I've caught him multiple times [ he tries to look whe he's infront of me]. And he knows).
A few days later, a different friend asked him and he said he had no idea who I am. A few days after that, another firend asked (I didn't ask her to, though) and she said he got really...defensive. Then, two other friends asked him (I didn't ask them to, either. They just decided to, I guess). He said no, then started smiling. That same day, Julie (a friend) yelled "Geanet loooovvveeess Jeremy!" in the cafeteria. Since then, he's been looking more.

First this is very cute and I think he likes you.

What I find annoying is how your friends keep asking him. Any communication between you two should be between you too. I'm a girl and I hate when girls badger a crusher or a crushee... it's childish and immature. So tell your friends to back off.

You seem like you like him too.

He may be shy so don't badger him. When you catch him looking at you, look back, smile a little, but don't make a big deal about it.

Trust me, he will eventually come around.

He;s lying about looking at you and liking you because:
(1) Your friends aare all in your business and it's obvious
(2) He's shy

NO He's just not that into you. he prolly thinks you look good. . or he just dazes off and youhappen to be in the line with the position his neck is comfortable in. He most likely smiled cause he thinks you lik ehim because you keep having your freinds ask him about it. And letting him know he is staring is a good thing.

Why don't you just go up to him and engage him in conversation...that way you'd be able to get a feel for his personality...see if there's any particular vibe that would be able to tell you whether or not he likes you and then go from there. If he doesn't like you, then he's just acting weird. He won't admit it to anyone else because guys pretend to be these "macho" figures that are more worried about sports than emotions. He doesn't want to come off as liking you because maybe he doesn't really believe that you like him...

It sounds like he's shy and don't know how to approach you. If he stares at you again - you politely go over to him and strike a conversation with him and let it flow. That should break the ice.

- He probably thinks it's funny that so many girls asked him for you, but that doesn't mean he likes you, and of course he knows you like him.
