no actually my pain and suffering has turned me toward my God. I have been suffering with a chronic pain illness for many years and if it was not for the Lord, I do not know what I would do- His grace is sufficient to me

No, it turned me to God. I knew God, and fell away, my life turned to crap, God was whispering to me to come back to him, I did and my life is on track again, and I know that I can not be in charge of my own life because I will ruin it. God knows whats best for me and I trust him.
