because if god wanted us to be gay, we would have been all born gay....... come on, it was adam & eve not adam & steve.

They make people uneasy because everyone think about sex a lot. When they see a gay person, bad thoughts come in head and disturb. But if gay person not over flamboyant and flaunt the gayness, I do not mind.

Some people are afraid of what they don't understand. It would take them to change their beliefs on some levels and most people are somewhat resistant to change.
