Are dating stites still popular? Why should I join when there is myspace?

those men on myspace are so annoying!!! they need to realize Myspace is not a dating website! lol or at least i didnt think it was! but i do believe dating sites are still popular. i keep seeing match.com and eharmony on TV commercials

www.americansingles.com is still pretty active, I believe... it's very popular and basically free.
If you have a hectic lifestyle and don't have time to date, this is an easy way... and if you prefer to use myspace, why not?
It's your life, your choice, and no, finding a man online doesn't mean you are a loser, it just means you take control of your love life and don't let what others think scare you away.
If you decide to go the online way, though, be careful. There are several weirdos out there, play things safe.
Always meet in public, never give out your home phone number, never let him know where you live until later on, always take your own car or money for a cab, and let a friend know where you are going and have her call you at a certain time.

Dating sites are for suckers. Mostly married man pretending to be single and over weight women pretending to be models!
