whenever i call somebody, my name always shows. Is there a phone code you can dial right before you call somebody like *82 to make your number not show up and your name not show up?

Yes depending on what phone company you have .
On my phone I dial *67 then the number
Check your phone company web site FAQ section it may have your answer there .....
Mine is per call blocking so you have to enter that * 67 every time you make a call that you want your ID blocked
On the other persons phone it will show up as either unknown name and number of Private call or blocked call ..
This feature is not intended for use for malicious or wrong full purpose's
Some companies also have a feature that lets you hear the last number that called so it can work both ways..

Per Call Blocking
Blocks sending of name and phone number on outgoing individual call. Must be done for each call. (Free.)

To use: *67 (+ number being dialed)
You can test Per Call Blocking by trying it out on 800/562-5588. (If blocking is not working, you will get some repair service.)
