Absolutely! Walking is one of the best exercises for a person.
Eat healthy foods, drink water (it's really important) and daily walking is a great way to lose weight!

Your body, like a well tuned machine, will burn fat from where it is most easily accessed and efficiently burned first. You can lose any kind of fat walking, you just cannot pick the order.
