Hi,

I am confident in myself and have many goals in life. I'm a freshman right now in college. The funny thing is I wouldn't mind having a girlfriend right now.

I'm an agnostic though, and am busy a lot. Only free Fridays and Saturdays. Being in the Bible belt south for College doesn't help. People either drink, I don't, or go do a Christian thingy. I usually go do my own interesting stuff or hang out with friends.

So, long story short, what should one do to find love? :D

Also, majority of my friends are seniors and upperclassmen. So they are either getting married or are in a long term relationship. Just FYI for extra info.

Don't look so hard for "love". You will find true love will sneak up on you without you even knowing.

Hey, man, good luck. I think best thing is to get a hobby that both men and women enjoy, like hiking, rafting, bird-watching, or something. Go with that.

Bowling, something where you can be around people. Nascar if you can afford it. Lots of southenr women go with brothers.

When I lived in Tennesee, there was not a lot to do, the towns were small, and meeting people, every woman I met tended to have two kids, and two or three guys already by age 25.

You might try going to libraries, bookstores, etc. Or try eharmony, or yahoo personals.

Much easier to find women in Ohio. I could easily have more women than I could handle, except that I am happily married.

Good luck.

Don't be afraid to go to school events, I'm sure there's some that don't involve drinking or religion. Also even if most people go out drinking to get drunk, there's nothing wrong to tag along and just have a few drinks. You can easily have a good time without getting 'wasted'. Heading to social events will help you meet new people. When you meet new people, you're bound to eventually find love. Good luck!

I'm in the Bible Belt as well however I don't go to the Church activities simply because I don't want to. Just talk to people I don't know what college you go to but at mine (SHSU) we get together certain weekends and just have fun and meet each other and other people just to make more friends, so just get out in a large crowd and who knows maybe you will find your true love.

I would wait until you get out of school and get established. Then find a girl about 10 years younger than you (at least 18). You want to have a woman that is easily influenced....one that you can train to be the way you want.
