There are two prophetic statements in Bukhary [3645; 4120] about some people who challenged prophet Muhammed by asking if he knows if a new-born baby would look like his father or like his mother?
Prophet Muhammed said that if the father orgasm before the mother did, the baby would look like him, and vice versa.
(1) Is this true?
(2) was this confirmed by our Genetic scientists?
(3) Does the woman's orgasm have any effect on pregnancy?
(4) Does not inheritance depend on Genes rather than on who orgasm first?

Praise be to Allah.
This hadith or prophetic statement prooves a GREAT MIRACLE the misconception is in your mind not in Islam.
Your misconception is the you translated "ماء الرجل" or "maa' al-rajol" as "Father's orgasm" and this is a complete lie, but the true translation is "The water of man", the same is applied to "ماء المرأة" which is translated to "The water of woman" and not to "Mother's orgasm". Now "The water of man" or " The water of women" doesn't denote that it's the discharge of man or women during the sexual intercourse but it denotes clearly that The water that comes first will determine THE SEX OF THE FOETUS, so:
If the water of man comes first, the foetus will be male.
If the water of woman comes first, the foetus will be female.
Let's find out what "The water of man" and "The water of woman" means;
- "The water of man" means the sperms of man discharge that carry the following genetic structure "gamete" (22+Y) and it's called "the water OF MAN" as those sperms will lead to development of a male foetus if one of those sperms fertelizes the ovum "egg" as its gamate is (22+X)
And this will lead to develomen of a male human being, the genetic structure of its cells are (44+XY)
- "The water of woman" means the sperms of man's discharge that carry the following genetic structure "gamete" (22+X) and it's called "the water OF WOMAN" as those sperms will lead to development of a female foetus if one of those sperms fertelizes the ovum "egg" as its gamate is (22+X)
And this will lead to develoment of a female human being, the genetic structure of its cells are (44+XX)
So concerning your questions:
1) Yes it is true.
2) yes it was.
3) I will not answer this question accoding to your misunderstanding. But generally yes it affects.
4) Yes it does.

1) No
2) No
3) No, not really, if a woman has an orgasm it can increase the likelihood of pregnancy as it causes her cervix to dip into the vagina and helps sperm into the uterus and eventually into the Fallopian tubes.
4) Yes, each parent contributes 50% of the genetic material, regardless of orgasm.

This is an urban legend.
EDIT:
I haven't heard the Hadith and if I had, Bukhari is not accepted by the Shiats and I'm a Shiat.

I couldn't find your source, anyway, many 'hadith's have been known to be poorly narrated, a source is required.
