2. Cooking Directions
To prepare dressing: Puree carrot, carrot juice, miso, vinegar, oil, ginger and garlic in a blender or food processor until smooth.
To prepare tofu: Slice each tofu block crosswise into 5 slices; pat dry with paper towels. Combine honey, oil, soy sauce, black bean-garlic sauce and garlic in a small bowl. Spread half the marinade in a large baking dish and top with the tofu slices. Spread the remaining marinade over the tofu, covering completely.
Preheat grill to medium-high. Oil the grill rack (see Tip). Grill the tofu until heated through, 2 to 3 minutes per side. To serve, toss greens with the dressing. Divide among 6 plates and top with the tofu.
Yield: 6 servings
3. Still Hungry?
Look for Asian greens (tatsoi, mizuna and/or pea shoots) packaged as a salad mix. They're slightly more bitter than many spring greens and will stand up well to this aromatic, vinegary dressing.
Notes:
Ingredient notes
The color of miso (fermented soybean paste) depends on how long it's aged. In general, the lighter the color, the milder the flavor. It will keep, in the refrigerator, for more than a year. Black bean-garlic sauce, a savory, salty sauce used in Chinese cooking, is made from fermented black beans, garlic and rice wine. It can be found in the Asian-food section of large supermarkets or at Asian markets. Use it in stir-fries and marinades for beef, chicken or tofu. To oil a grill rack: Oil a folded paper towel, hold it with tongs and rub it over the rack. (Do not use cooking spray on a hot grill.)

Then reduce it the opposite direction into one million/two inch squares. Scramble an egg (or simply rainy it if you do not devour eggs) then coat with potato starch. Fry in pan till mild brown on each side (however ensure you simplest flip it over as soon as). Tofu heats particularly speedy. Add teriyaki sauce and recent grated ginger (ensure you cut down the warmth) and serve over white rice with a aspect of greens. Heat till sizzling and upload marin (candy sake) to style. you'll use white sugar, too. You can use tofu as a substitute for many meat dishes. Something you might want to consider is to get the extra firm tofu, slice it into 1/2 inch slices, drain well, and then marinate in soya sauce, ginger, garlic, rice wine, chili sauce for 24 hours. Remove slices and bake in a 375 degree oven until they are firm, reduced slightly in size, and golden. You can then use these slices in sandwiches, salads, stirfrys or just eat. You can also adjust the seasonings to your taste. Tofu is a great alternative to meat and meat proteins!

i know that it you want it to be extra firm you need to drain most of the water out. simply by wrapping the tofu in a paper towel and pushing down (not where you squish it)
i also heard that to cook it you would put it in the oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for like ten - 20 minutes. BUT THAT IM NOT SURE. hope this helped

I love making smoothies with silken tofu. Use a quarter package of tofu, a frozen banana, 1 cup juice and about 1 cup berries or other fruit. Blend in blender.

Tofu is toxic. Eating tofu almost killed me. Tofu is not regulated by the FDA and eating tofu can mess up women's hormones and also thyroid glands - if you take thyroid medication do not use soy products.
Eat cheese or nuts.
I lost about 1/3 of my hair from eating tofu because it blocked my natural hormones and thyroid medication.
Most soy in the US is now genetically modified but they do not tell you.
