1- Are you feeding enough and what are you feeding her?
2- Has she had a checkup with the vet lately? There might
be some digestive problems. Worms?
3- How much attention are you giving? Cats need a
lot. Perhaps you are substituting food for love, and
she knows it! They are sensitive you know.

That was such a sweet and sad image!
Poor Bella girl!
Here are a few ideas: play with her, feed her fat-free treats (like freeze-dried chicken or fish) now and then, or better still, hide small amounts of dry food here and there in the house so that she will spend her whole day looking for more and it will be loads of fun! Put some on one shelf, some behind a door, some behind a chair, be creative! She will smell it and find it: play and feed! Just like catching mice...

Try this and Bella will be happier!

You just need to give her only the amount you give her usually (read the back of the food box for guidelines on how much to give her) and she will not get fatter but she will have more fun. And won't be looking so sad once her bowl is empty.

Depends on how much food you give her, I have 3 cats and they used to get fed twice a day, but because they waste the food and I have to chuck it out I now only feed once a day but there is always a bowl of cat biscuits down. Try that should cheer her up but make sure she has plenty of water.

if your cat is over eating i would suggest taking her to the vets as she may have a thyroid problem.
Average food intake should be 3-4 pouches / 1 tin a day for a cat so keep an eye on her to see if she is over eating.
