No. They hate him because he is a Republican and that he "stole" the last election. The fact that he is moral or has Christ as his Lord only fans the flames of their hatred.

Then your pastor is feeding you propaganda. Many, if not maximum Liberals are Christians besides. Bush isn't doing Christian issues... mendacity to the media, masking issues up, attacking international locations... does that sound very Christian to you? Liberals hate Bush because of the fact he's working your united states of america into the floor, inflicting gasoline expenditures to bypass up, making something of the worldwide no greater effective than happy with you, and in certainty destroying the guidelines that your united states of america replaced into equipped upon. Land of the unfastened and domicile of the courageous does not notice all that a lot anymore.

What? Has political parties now become religions? Is this the only way you can tell a Christian from a non is their Political preference? Sounds like to me your pastor is teaching just that... anyone who is a Liberal must not be a Christian.
Funny thing is, in Jesus' time, Jesus would have been the Liberal. He put down the Conservative Pharisees who followed the law to the letter and Liberated his people from their oppression. So I guess Jesus must not have Good Christian Morals.

Considering the very high percentage of liberals who are christian, your pastor is either willfully spreading misinformation or is himself an uninformed idiot - since it comes to politics it's most likely the latter.
And most republicans at this point hate Bush too, not because he's christian but because he's not moral, doesn't have decent values, and is clearly leading this country to hell in a handbasket. He invaded a country and took it over because he believes god told him to. His entire administration is manipulative, power hungry and just an astonishing affront/insult to anything you could call morality or decency.

Excuse me? This question is stupid!
The vast majority of Democrats and liberals are Christian themselves. When since Republicans got exclusive rights to the title, especially since they have not done anything particularly 'Christian" either.
Democrats and liberals hate Bush for the same reason some Republicans are also hating Bush right now. He MADE A MESS OF THINGS!

I think that's nonsense, and I am a Christian. Some people hate Christians and some people hate Bush, but I don't think they're tied together.
Liberals and atheists are not the immoral group that some people would have you believe. There are wicked and evil people on the left and on the right.
I'm really, really disgusted by both extremes and both political parties, too. So there.

Stealing an election and invading a country that posed NO threat to us and killing whoardes (sp?) of innocent Iraqis... are these what you call good Christian values????
Your pastor is dead off, I don't know where he gets his information from, but it's not a reliable source. Liberals don't hate Bush because he's Christian, they (we!) hate him because he's EVIL, pure and simple.
Killing innocents for oil. Breaking promises. Gas prices sky high. Sending troops with no regard to the protests to bring them home. These things don't come from a "good Christian" at all. Bush is NO kind of Christian.
For those who confuse Bush with Christianity, that's just it, you are confused. It's like confusing Hitler with Christianity.
I'm a liberal and not a Christian, but I don't hate Christians.

Actually Bush has no moral values, Christian or otherwise, but that's not why I hate him. It's because he's a greedy little moron willing to sell out his own country and everyone in it just to be powerful and rich.

Quite the contrary. Most liberals are Christian, just not the fundamentalist type trying to bring out the end of the world.

Your pastor is an ignorant liar.
I dislike Bush because he got us into a war by lying to the American people. I dislike Bush because he is forcing the park rangers at the Grand Canyon not to tell the tourists how old it is. I dislike Bush because he has threatened to end a woman right to choice. I dislike Bush because he caters to the ignorant fundies. I dislike Bush because, like most republicans, he favors the rich.
I dislike Bush because he is controlled by the NRA as well as the religious right.
I dislike Bush because he has allowed the worst damage to our enviornment than any president ever in the history of this country.

No they hate him because he is conservative, and all the people they listen to tell them that he is terrible.
The funny truth is that Jesus was pretty Liberal, and if he was around today teaching his message, most of the republicans and Christian right would do their best to politically assasinate him.
Thats just the truth, coming from a thinking republican.
