Why would an all-knowing God create Adam and Eve?

Before God created this planet and the people on it, he knew everything that was gonna happen. That's kinda what all-knowing implies.

Which means he created Adam and Eve, knowing Eve would eat the apple. He knew in the end that would lead having to flood the entire planet and killing all his creations. He knew that he would have to send his Son to our planet to die for us. He knew that our selfishness would lead to wars, and the death of 30,000 kids by day caused by starvation.

He knew about the holocaust, WW1, Bush, 9/11, Tsunamis, Earthquakes, etc, etc. He knew he would have to smite two cities someday.

Knowing all that, He created Adam and Eve. Why?

Parents, even though they don't know how it will end, still have children - even though parenting is expensive, time consuming, frustrating, and there are no guarantees that nothing will happen to them or their children.

Love prompts us to endure the bad because of the good. I think it's the same for God. I believe He can bring about good even from the worst of events. It's not that the events themselves are good or become good, but He can bring good from them.

In the end, I think He created Adam and Eve for the same reason that we get married and have kids and every other hopeful, optimistic endeavor humans undertake: Love is everything. Love makes everything worth it.

It's all about immune systems, I reckon. Bacteria can out-evolve the hell out of us higher animals, because they have very rapid generations and conjugation - in which they share plasmid DNA. We are here for God's pleasure and for His purposes. Yes, He knows what we are going to do with our free will..but I think it is still a great thing that we have a free will. I know I would not like to be a robot.

I think that life here is a wonderful gift, and God knew that we would appreciate that. There are disasters, yes.
