ok yesterday at church i only had a few beers (miller lites) and smoked some...happy sticks. i didnt get caught. ive been caught because i used to do so much drugs and drink ALOT of booze. moderation is the answer....right?

God also drinks everyday caaz he hasnt got any peers to move around....

It doesnt matter how much u drank n did drugs then versus now, 4 u 2 go 2 a church drunk or under the influence of drugs is simply blasphemy! Why don't u just stand out in the church yard or stand up in the middle of the service n say the GD word over n over or start cussing profusley n get people 2 staring @ u. Simply u r making yourself sound like an idiot by getting on here n stating that someone like u would even go 2 church.

God gave you the freedom of choice to make your own decisions so the drinking and happy sticks are something you wanted to do not something God told you to do. If over indulging is not the answer and moderation is then you have to decide how many is moderate? Take care Heather

God never "wants" anyone to sin. That is our own sinful nature that attacks us, because our flesh is weak, what God does tell us in His word is to pray without ceasing, and to pray that we do not fall into temptation.
And in that, God is glorified! But we all fall short at times, the most important thing, is that you are convicted and KNOW when you are sinning. Getting drunk is a sin---so therefore repent of it and pray that the Lord will help you not fall into temptation of it again. Jesus says "Apart from ME you can do nothing" --SO TRUE!

The first thing we do to placate ourselves concerning 'stupid' sins is the same thing Adam did, put the onis for the sin in God's court. Eve blamed the serpent, Adam appeared to bleme the woman, but in reality was blaming God when he said, "The woman whom thou gavest me...". This is the same thing you are doing. God wants things sanctified and holy (set apart and clean for His use. The fact that you said (not asked) 'moderation' shows that your mind isn't on pleasing God, only yourself. You don't want to stop at all, elsewise you would be, at least, seeking help to stop your private addictions. You care nothing about the House of God. You drink and get high ON THE PREMISES?!!? How can you have the unmidigated gall to try to lie on God, instead of being a man ( the structure of your statement gives indication that you are a guy ) and doing that mess outside of church property, shows you have a lot af 'maturing'. Start by being a man and taking blame for what you do. Jesus came to set anyone who wanted to be free, free;
John 3:12-13 " But as many as recieved him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even them that believe on His name;
Which were born, not of blood, nor the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God".
John 3:3 " Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be borm again, he cannot see the kingdom of God".
John 3:16-21 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.for God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.
He thaat believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather that light, because their deeds were evil.
For everyone that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifast, that they are wrought in God".
Your best thing to do is decide to be free from your 'false friends' ( drinking and getting high) as these things only slowly steal your brain function. They ever so slowly kill brain cells that do not regenerate on their own, only God can heal them. Recieve Christ as Lord and Saviour and give yourself more than a chance.

i wouldn't go to church under influence of drugs or alcohol.by moderation one does not drink to get drunk.and happy sticks are illegal.

?Dude your Free to do as u please.. no such thing as moderation.. hehe u can fool yourself into thinking your moderate lol.. point is you smoke..you get cancer they cut holes in your neck, take out tongue,s remove lungs..you drink you lose your liver.. u get to be a man who cant take care of himself and talks thru a hole in the throat, eats thru a straw and pees thru a tube into a bag taped to your side.. but hey yeah go for the moderation..me ill pass..
