Regular flat irons will help a little, but make sure that you get a ceramic flat iron. I have found that those work so much better than the ones with the metal plates. Also make sure that you use some sort of finishing product to reduce fly aways. I like to use Biosilk.

Its usually not the iron. Try a professional quality flat iron like the Cricket V1 & v2 or any others alike. But i would suggest using a hot iron protective spray like RUSK which is formulated to go on and protect you hair while strengthening the effects of the hot iron. You can get the same effects with hairspray because when spray it on then flatten it out it heats up to stay that way. But i wouldnt suggest that because hairspray is flammable. Good luck!

A Chi flat iron is the best that I know of but they are quite expensive. If you want more of a permanent straightening then you need to get your hair relaxed by a professional. A flat iron is just going to straighten your hair until you wash it again.

go to Walmart or Walgreens and buy one of those hair straighteners. In the section where you get the curling irons. That will do the trick to get your hair straight
