Honestly, think about it, it IS unnatural, God made man and woman to be together, and that was HIS design from the beginning.
Look at the DESIGN of a man and woman....how it FITS.
I am sorry but not only is homosexuality a sin in Gods' eyes it is definately unnatural! And that is why it is a sin.

Many homosexual couples have children with lesbian friends. Also of the gay people I know, quite a few are bisexual. So there's no immediate danger to the world's population even should everyone decide/discover that they are gay.
Xenophobia seems to be 'genetically wired' in, and I would say that homosexuality certainly qualifies as a xenoid stimulus to a heterosexual, so I don't think that homophobia exists as a discrete entity. If it did, then homosexuals would be homophobic too.
I used to be very antsy around gay people until I got over it and realised that they were pretty much just ordinary people with the same bells and whistles and warts as the rest of us. Perhaps tolerance and acceptance of a different gene-base and/or mindset is easier for me on account of being autistic.

intolerance isn't genetic. Genes code for the construction of amino acids, which are used to form proteins in the cells in our bodies. Intolerance is nothing to do with that, its to do with a lack of education.
The undeniable fact is that like gender, skin colour, eye colour, and many other features, sexuality is not a choice. Therefore it is not the fault of the individual, and as it causes no harm to anybody, there is no reason to discriminate against it. If everyone were gay, i'm sure we'd still be willing to screw the occasional girl in order to perserve humanity.
EDIT: DUCKY: I'm very curious as to the sources of your claims, homosexuality has been found to occur in every mammal known to man. Even whales have been known to be homosexual.

The "natural" and "unnatural" arguments about homosexuality are irrelevant.
"Natural" does not indicate morality, nor does "unnatural" indicate immorality.
Does the behavioral tendency to discriminate against members of a species who are different from the norm a natural occurrence? Yes.
Is a homosexual orientation a natural occurence? Yes.
The question should be, "Is there any rational reason to think that homosexuals are immoral or should not have equal rights?"
The answer to that would be, "No," because homosexuality does not hurt anyone, or infringe on the rights of others.
Murder is a behavior occurring in nature. It is immoral, because it hurts other people and infringes on the rights of others.
Makeup is not natural, and yet is not commonly considered immoral, because it hurts no one and does not infringe on the rights of others.
So you see, "natural," and "unnatural," are weak arguments in the arena of morality.
The only relevance held by homosexuality being natural is in arguing against the religious notion that it is a choice.

No.... just our inability to see past our selves.....Who's to say homosexuality is un-natural? For the most part the only reason the gay community gets discriminated against, hated, oppressed is due to people needing something to be bigoted against......If people really want something to hate try rapists, murderers, pedophiles, and the list goes on.....leave the gay alone to love as they choose.....it's not in the genes it's just a societal prejudice....there are four types of couples:
Male/Female, Male/Male, Female/Female and then those who go either way........

I honestly don't know. I for one am not homophobic.
But think of it this way. If your theory was correct (which I disagree with). Society changes many things and many people. Considering your family upbringing and the values and beliefs that were passed down, yes people may act this way and vice-versa if you were raised in a tolerant family. Also you were to interact with tolerant folk and you yourself were homophobic. Could this possibly change a persons way of thinking. I believe it could.
Define Natural!!
Finally...can you blame some of the other posters for being a little upset. You are after all being somewhat judgmental of them.

If you want to put it that way, you could stretch and say that maybe the survival instinct has something to do with it, but that is not an excuse to go around beating people up or oppressing them or something, we are wired by an obsolete survival instinct to do alot of things, but we have to overide alot of things that our survival instinct tells us, just because it's innapropriate in this day and age, and nature hasn't caught up to adapting to technology that has out run us. Also, if you want to look at it as evolutionary, homosexuality could be a surfacing adaptation to ensure survival of the species in an overpopulated world, if a percentage were born that way, it would help to keep down the population, that sort of theory could be stretched a number of ways, if you want to press it. Nature comes up with some weird ways to keep populations of various species down. Lemmings breed like mad, but nature has wired them so whole herds of them will go running for the nearest cliff and throw themselves off. As adaptations go, it 's a weird one, but it works to keep us from being completely over run by them.
Homosexual behavior is not exclusive to the human species, it has been observed in other animals. As for homosexuals that say they choose to be, that just makes me wonder if they were born homosexuals, or if they were really bi-sexuals that made a choice to be with the same gender, there's a difference.
As for not being responsible for your opinions, they are *your* opinions, and *you* have offered them here asking for justification of them. Yes, you are.

It's never been a better time to be a queer. They're more accepted then ever. Lots of high profile and low profile people are openly gay. Gays have their own TV shows and parades down Main Street.
Straights are not allowed to have parades down Main Street. Maybe we should be whine and whimper about anti-straight oppression.

What do you mean you are in no way responsible for your opinions?... Your thoughts, your actions, your words are your responsibility.
If you think of humanity as purely animal beasts who are only interested in propagating the species, than I suppose, in a twisted way, you would have some ground to stand on here with this theory.
I think of humanity as much more than just our animal selves. I think of humanity as having a soul that is ever moving towards the realization that we are all one and that all is love. Coming from my standpoint, if something is done with true, pure intent to love, it is good. It is natural. Period.
Many people in their relations with others desire to GET something from the interaction. Attention, validation, perhaps money? Security? You name it. This is unnatural whether you are straight, homosexual, black, white, green...
When you are coming from a place of love, you are already whole within yourself. In your relations, you seek to celebrate with others, to give thanks, not to get something from them. That is natural.
