Just bring her in on your next trip. Get her a driver's license and a job in the USA. She is welcome...another immigrant, just like Arnold.

Is she going the CR1 or the K3 route?

Processing for a spousal visa is done at the Vermont or California processing centers. Vermont is usually quicker. But with you in California- it will probably end up in California.

Once the I 130 is approved, then it will move to the National Visa Center- sometimes it will not be automatic, you may need to file an I 824 to have it moved. After the NVC, it will move to the US Consulate in Mexico. They will send out a package of the things you need to do next- the affidavit of support, the medical for your wife, police certificate, etc. When that is done and returned to the Consulate, they will set up an Interview date for your wife. If her Interview is approved, she will get her Visa and be free to enter the US.
