The secret to good watercolors is building layers upon layers of color to create the effect you want. Instead of making the dark paint so thick and opaque, you should slowly build up layers of different colors to build a deeper color.

Go to Giverny, France. There is an American Art School in the town. You will certainly learn how to paint with watercolor there. Attending the school is not the cheapest option to learn watercolor painting but certainly has to be one of the best. Hey, it worked for Monet.

i don't have a web site, but i know a teqnique. my art teacher wouls put salt on our pictures to add cool affects
