Into public? No. To work? Yes! There's someone at my office who always shows up with wet hair. A friend of mine actually got fired from her job at a bank for coming in with wet hair too often.
I think the real problem with these people is that they're overtired procrastinators who don't allow enough time in the morning to finish getting ready.

As long as you are wearing clothes, it's perfectly acceptable. I would say that venturing into public needing a shower would be less acceptable. Unless you think you're famous, there shouldn't be a problem at all.

I don't think it is. The only time it would be unacceptable would be if your hair was dripping so badly it got other people wet. But as far as just going out with your hair freshly shampooed, that is fine in my opinion.

No its called letting your hair air dry -- I do it all the time. And it is way more offensive to not take that shower when your obviously in hurry.
In fact in may be more offensive and strange to walk out with a towel on your head.

I don't think so but I've been in public with wet hair before and no one said anything, staired or even seemed to care.

It would depend on how casual the place is. Nowdyas, it's acceptable pretty much anywehere. Work migth be acceptable if you don't work with clients. Casual restaurants are fine, but if you are going to a fancy-tie-required type, you might want to at least make it look like do :)

No. Otherwise you'd be in trouble if you went swimming at the public pool. Just dont wear your hair up in a towel or anything...

Absolutely not. Why would it be. Besides that, it'll be dry in a little while anyway. It's only water. I do it all the time -- especially in the warm weather & I'm in a hurry. No biggie.

no...if you are comfortable walking around in public with wet hair, do it. you shouldn't worry about what others think of you if you are comfortable doing it.

Hey, if you don't care what you look like, why should we?
Remember you only get one chance at a first impression.
