I suggest using a glass or microwave safe plastic bowl if one is available.

Do they make paper bowls or are you talking about the ones that have some type of coating on them? Either way why dont you just use a regular microwave safe bowl and put a paper towel ontop of it to prevent splatters

doesn't ez mac come in a bowl already?
Yes paper plates and bowls are micro safe...until they get soggy and melt from too much moisture. Not recommended for repeated use.

Cooking in Chinet or other disposable bowl is fine when cooked not on HIGH. Check on the packaging to see if they list it as microwave safe.
Only things I would avoid in a microwave is a cardboard chinese food box (they sometimes contain staples and you will have a spark lightshow or a fire if you cook in it), and styrofoam (the foam melts and gets into the food...and styrofoam contains carcinogens).
