If a dealer had an upfront set price on each car would you prefer buying there over negotiating elsewhere. I buy cars from a dealership like this...they advertise mostly online and do not have any actual salespeople. The cars are all lease returns and most are under warranty. You either buy the car at the set price or you don't also your in and out in like 30 minutes. I prefer this over haggling with annoying salespeople

Yes, the haggling is a joke. They should list bottom dollar cost. Things would go so much faster.

There is no price that is "un-haggleable", I don't care what they say. If they want to sell a car bad enough, they'll haggle. You folks that find haggling a bad thing are looking at it the wrong way, it actually gives YOU a chance to make the price cheaper.
Works best if you buy a car the last week of the month, especially in September or October.

Why would you want to buy anything besides groceries at a set price? Especially a car, which is the worst investment in the world? Typically you will find that these dealerships that have set pricing are way higher than if you went to a traditional dealership and haggled. Oh, wait, I guess haggling is bad......I mean you end up with a better price, sounds like trouble to me........These dealerships with set pricing our laughing all the way to the bank, because they have taken something people hate to do, and make it seem so easy. Meanwhile they typically profit several hundred to thousands more per unit than a traditional dealership. Its your choice. My answer would be to find the best deal no matter how long it took, or how hard I had to negotiate. But, I like my money, other people may not..........

Personally I would never purchase a used car with no haggle pricing. New car I could see doing so, but not on a used vehicle.

I would never purchase a car on line. View and search maybe, but a car should be test driven and possibly inspected by myself or my mechanic prior to purchase. With a purchase this big, I doubt I'd trust a 30 minute purchase process.
