I need advice from others cuz i think i have blinders on either that or just out right dumb!! I have feelings for someone had them for years now. for 5 months now the person has been acting like they do not want anything to do with me but in the same breath does. Should i just let the person go as my friend and give up on hoping for anything else happening? also the person tends to stand me up when they say they are going to be there and dont show up. this person told me years ago that they wanted nothing more then honesty from me but in the same breath i have caught this person lying to me. Such as saying they are gonig offline then there are not. Call me back then they say they will and dont. Please no mean or rude answers here as i am new to this.

sweety, I'm known for being HONEST and sometimes BLUNT, but in this case, since you seem really upset about this situation I'll try to be nice: you don't need this kind of people in your life. you say this person has lied to you and I get the feeling this has happened through the years and these actions hurt you and confuse you so why would you keep "hoping" this kind of person is going to change and be nice and honest and a real friend for you? it's not healthy and you must stand up for yourself, and think that you don't deserve the crap they are giving you because you are someone IMPORTANT and if these people (or this person in particular) can't see this, honey it's time to say NEXT and you'll see you'll find better people with values and good feelings that are going to make you have a good time and you wont have to worry about if they're being"double face" or not. you have to have some standards alright??? dont let people humiliate you just because you want a friendship.... not worth it dude!!!

You need to forget about this guy. If he really means what he said, he wouldn't be treating you like that, standing you up and what not. Just move on. You deserve a lot better.

If your girlfriend or bf are lying to u and doing other thing's that are a big no,no in a relationship like cheating etc,etc then you need to tell him or her that they have 2 go... pretty simple, good luck

whoever this is doesn't seem to have earned "friend" privileges, nevermind relationship privileges - in either case, if you want to be happy with them, you need to be able to count on them to do what they say and mean what they say. if there's no trust, there's no (healthy) relationship!

move on and find someone who wants you enough to be clear about what they say and what they want

be a friend... and if "it" will happen... it's better when it's unexpected.
