Someone correct me if I'm wrong here, but I don't think the US Constitution mentions a Right of Free Thought.
It does mention freedom of conscience, which is close; and, of course, freedom of speech and freedom of assembly (which is already restricted).
Freedom of Thought is an inalienable right, however, in that no one can restrict your thoughts.
Oh, and in response to Jan, above, the 9th Circuit has made no such ruling. There are no cites in any appellate court of any decision in which one would forfeit pension or other benefits for speaking the phrases you proffer.

I don't believe it is George Bush who is doing it. The 9th circuit court two weeks ago cemented their decision that in the workplace, if you utter any of the following words or phrases, you are immediately fired, all benefits, pension, life insurance, everything you've worked for, even if you have worked there for thiry years, is taken away. Ready?
1. "family values"
2. "natural family"
3. "marriage" (you will be fired only if the context of the discussion is about a female who marries a male)
Now does that seem like Christian George
Bush, or does that sound like who really was responsible for it? That would be your homosexual lobbyists. Welcome to the new age of God only knows what. I think I could screw a tomato and get cheers nowadays.
Hey, anything goes, if it feels good, lets do it. No morals, no values, nothing. just anything you want to do. And let me remind you, that this was an amendment to the free speech rights that all of us used to enjoy, but now are geared to the gay community.
It seems as if some who yell they have no rights are the ones who have more rights than the rest of us.

No. I just want someone in Washington to do something about stopping abortion. Babies at 8 weeks feel pain. We'd better get ready. First 9/11, Katrina & New Orleans and it will get worse. We can't support abortion which is shedding innocent blood, promote homosexuality and divide Israel's land and expect God to continue to bless this nation. Our courts do not deliver justice, they kill innocent women. They uphold same sex marriage and promote sodomy.
What is happening is exactly what God said He would do. God is turning the ungodly over to depraved minds and they will remain depraved and eternally punished. The Bible says, "My how the heathen rage," and the heathen are raging.
