I've been dating a girl for just under two months now. It's her birthday next week. I don't think we've really got extremely close yet; the relationship has been more of a mid-ground between a friendship and and full-blown relationship. How much would you advise is a reasonable amount of money to spend on her birthday so as not to appear stingy but also not to appear 'over the top'?

Maybe give her a little something around $30 and take her out to eat, or to the movies. Does she like concerts and stuff like that? That's a good thing to go and do also. You don't want to spend a lot right now though, cuz then you will have to keep up with that later. Try to think of something funny as a gag gift too, like something that you and her did together and it reminds her of that.

There is a great gift for 20 or 30 pounds in the UK for a 2 for 1 (so she can take a friend) photoshoot where they get a facial, hair styled and model photos taken by Models 1. I got it for a girl last xmas and she loved it. It is on a certain website for holidays or gifts that you get at the last minute.

Get her flowers!!! It is in the perfect price range that you should spend 30-50 dollars. Girls love flowers and it is a little something to say that you were thinking about her on her birthday. If she is really crafty then she could dry them out and keep them as a keeps sake..Some girls love that too!!

get her something like a card with $10 in it, or roses. Or just take her out to eat and then to a movie.

probably $30-$50. if you find a gift that can't really be labeled as a certain price, then you're golden.

why not get her a gift card or certificate? maybe balloons?
