If he is offering to buy you the shoes, then there is no problem.....While you are spending his money, he is willing to do it, and he is wanting to do something nice for you, so enjoy! THe only time you should ever worry about spending his money (if this is your concern) is if you always ask him to buy you things, and he does it. If this is not the case, then just enjoy his niceness!

He is spending his money, not you. He is choosing to spend it on something for you. Just be honest with him, if he is insisting you must have already tried to refuse. Don't insult him and enjoy a little pampering.
I'd just be a little careful that he knows he can't just buy me, I am worth more than dollars!!

Personally, I would be accepting of it for a while and gracious about the situation, but if it starts to become a regular habit then tell him you have enough shoes already and you can only wear one pair at a time. Theres treating your girlfriend and theres taking the biscuit.

I would just let him buy the shoes. It's his money, but if he wants to spend it on you, that's a good thing.

Very politely explain that you are an independent woman and that you make a practice of being your own articles of clothing. This practice of buying clothes for a girlfriend cheapens a girl and makes her look like she is for sale for the price of a pair of shoes. Ladies don't go there.

Sometimes people who are very independent feel it's hard to let others buy anything for them, let alone gifts.
Like the other person said, enjoy it while it lasts. I'd say keep his gift-buying for you to a minimum to avoid having it come back to you that you are "materialistic" or a "gold digger."

Enjoy the treat! He obviously thinks a lot of you and wants to spoil you so let him :) If you feel that bad, maybe return the favour by doing something nice for him in a few weeks time x

Be very crittical of the ones he does buy you, or be picky, usually he will be too nervous that you won't like them.
I buy my little sister stuff all the time and she has never told me to stop, but she is a free loader, can i trade you two maybe? :D
