Absolutely. Just get a cab but if you are going to rent a car, make (advance) arrangements with Enterprise Car Rentals. They will bring the car to you and you won't need (transport) or a cab. Best option. Otherwise, National Car Rentals (who I normally use exclusively), Avis or Hertz are all good. Alamo is good as well. Prices are all about the same depending on what type of vehicle you are renting. The key is who is most convienent in getting and returning the vehicle based on your travel plans.

When you get off the ship in Miami the taxis will be lined up waiting to take passengers any where they want to go. Just do a search ( expedia or travelocity) for rentals car agencies that will be open on the day and time that you return. Make a reservation online and then have the taxi take you to the rental agency.
