Ummm...let's see. Between those two I'd take....wait for it...A GUN IN THE MOUTH. Yellow Label is infamous for a poor corking process that results in leaks and completely oxidized wine, and the wine is like home fermented welch's grape juice. Yellowtail is a fad wine circa Beringer White Zin in the '90's. But white zin has a well earned stigma nowadays, so the learned "connoisseur" now looks for a more acceptable choice: enter Yellowtail, the wine that puts more work into their design (which, I'll admit, is well done) than they do into their wine process. I've tried pretty much every varietal they produce, and I can ALWAYS recommend a cheaper and better version of them all from a different vineyard.

Well, I have never had Wolf Blass Yellow Label, so I can only truly say that I am partial to Yellow Tail. More specifically, the Shiraz-Grenache. I have had great success and satisfaction with their wines, and they are usually my go-to when looking for something inexpensive and good. Their reds have always amazed me, but I have only had their Chardonnay for a white. Their blends just taste amazing to me and I love to cook with their wine as well. However, I am always open to trying new vineyards, and will certainly ask my liquor store owner about Wolf Blass Yellow Label.

Technically no, yet maximum wines would have a advised drink via date. this is because of the fact diverse wines age at differnet expenditures, and may well be stored for longer. some thing like a Wolf Blass could in all risk purely have a 2 or 3 300 and sixty 5 days window till now it began to become worse. that's indicated on many wines via a image on the label. there will be a horizontal line to point the era the wine remains stable for (there is additionally one sloping upwards that shows a era of progression in the bottle), in some unspecified time sooner or later the line will drop down, and a date would desire to be shown. that's the drink via date as that's whilst the producer expects the wine to start to become worse.

I don't like either one. In Australia Wolf Blass is considered to be the piss of wines, and I can see why since it tastes like dirt, at least to me. As far as Yellow tail goes, it's decent but still not my taste. I will take a nice jammy Zinfandel, thank you...there is also a lovely wine called Ironstone Obsession that I have become quite partial to.

I would have to go with Yellow Label. It is a very full bodied wine. It's oak aging process makes it a very "rich" wine. It is fabulous to cook with. Try using it to make a wonderful red sauce for pasta. I am so partial to Australian wines!
