i'm not a skin expert but from my experiences with oily and very porous skin (especially in the summers), washing my face with warm water followed by splashing it with cool to cold water helps to tighten your pores. during the day maybe carry a translucent or matte loose powder kit with you and every now and then brush some powder on the problem areas to help mask large pores. this will definitely make them less noticeable. theres not much you can do to "get rid of it" because your skin pores open to release more heat when it needs to so when you're hot you'll just have to find a way to "stay cool"!

What really helps to minimize pores, is to go to a tanning bed. Long use of tanning in a bed is not healthy for your skin but do it once or twice in one week and your pores will minimize/ disappear. While doing this though, I suggest washing your face nightly and daily. When washing your fash, do not scrub aggresavilly. This will just cause dry skin, and some pores are caused by dry skin and oil. Softly wash your face and rinse. I just wash my face with soap and water, you do not have to spend money on creams, just make sure you clean your face.
