I would do my research before I bought if I were you. You never can tell these days. Although my mom won a car for me off e-bay from some car place near Scranton, PA. It's not much to look @, but we only paid $350 plus fees total about $500 something for it. It was worth about $1,000. So just keep an eye out for good feedback on the places your looking to buy from.

New or used?

A new car, why not? If you've already test driven the car... Of course, make sure to have protections against fraud, etc.

A used car? Only if I could see and test drive the car, before I bought.
