Roman-Jewish War, which began in Galilee and ended in Jerusalem? Isn't it interesting that Josephus claims to have been a child prodigy, who, at the age of 14 was frequently sought out by the high priests on his opinion on points of the law? Isn't it interesting that the characters of the N.T. and the Roman-Jewish War intermingle, even though the events alledgedly took place 40 years apart. (Joseph, Mary, James, Simon, Judas, John, Jesus, Mathew, Lazarus, Caesar, etc) Isn't it interesting that Josephus was adopted into the royal Flavian family by Vespasian after the war and given an apartment in the emporer's palace where he was employed as an historian? Isn't it interesting that the first thing Titus did after inheriting the throne from Vespasian was to have his father diefied, thereby making himself the son of God? Isn't it interesting that events in the alledged missionary career of Jesus paralel events in the military careers of Titus and Josephus?

Yes, it is interesting... his whole life is, though personally I thought the man was liar. Especially after the whole ordeal in Megadda (spelling?) where he was, supposedly, with other Jews when the Romans were attacking them. The cave where a bunch of Jews decided suicide was better than being captive of the Romans. Yet, supposedly Josephus was there and was one of two who survived the ordeal and escaped the Romans. Odd how he was supposedly a Roman Citizen working for the higher class, yet had to fear them and hide with others who committed suicide and he survives?

He is documented in Roman records on everything you have listed here. Which is what leads me to believe the man was a liar and possibly was the one who turned the other Jews into the Romans during the massacre.

Isn't it interesting that after reading your entire question I have no idea what it is that you are really asking? Are you asking if others find Josephus not credible as a Historian because he provided non scripture witness to the events of Christ?
