Yes, it is interesting... his whole life is, though personally I thought the man was liar. Especially after the whole ordeal in Megadda (spelling?) where he was, supposedly, with other Jews when the Romans were attacking them. Odd how he was supposedly a Roman Citizen working for the higher class, yet had to fear them and hide with others who committed suicide and he survives?

He is documented in Roman records on everything you have listed here. Which is what leads me to believe the man was a liar and possibly was the one who turned the other Jews into the Romans during the massacre.
