I'm really shy and not the most out going person in the world what should I do?

u should do things that would get his attention. such as, accidentally bump him and say sorry, etc. Little things like that will get u noticed.

Practice on another guy who's fairly cute but who you like less? So that you don't have anything significant to lose if you blow it?
Besides the obvious, that's what comes to mind.
This general idea is common advice for people going out for job interviews. I.e., interview first for jobs you don't want anyway, and only then for the ones you really want to land.
Maybe it should be adapted for your situation as well.

Being shy is nothing to brag about. You're no different from other people, so stop thinking you're unique and start acting like a normal girl. Otherwise, life is just going to pass you by.

I think that if u like him u should give it a shot if it feels right 2 u if not find someone that your comfortable around either way it's okay to take a risk.
