i think it's a myth, but does anybody know a large family. were their kids messed up? if some of the kids are adopted, will that affect whether or not they are messed up. i want 12 kids when i get older, and i want to have 4-5 and adopt the rest (mainly older kids and families who nobody wants). will they turn out messed up and twisted like everybody says?

No, Why would that mess them up? I think it teaches them early how to work with other people. I'm not from a large family but many of my friends are. There is nothing wrong with them if you can afford it.

I dont think so. My grandmother came from a large family there were 12 kids in her family and none of them were messed up as you say they all lived happy healthy lives my grandmothers in her 80's and she is still going strong. so i would have to say no.
