Chinese is very hard to pronounce. Even if someone spells out the pinyin for you, I would suggest finding some-one who can actually say it.
For easy speaking purposes you can just say:
ni hao - how are u
ni shi feichang piao liang - (nee shir feytchang pee-ow lee-ang) u are very pretty.
xue wo hanyu (shuyeh whoah han yu-uh) - teach me chinese!
