1) There is one God...eternally existing in 3 distinct Persons: Father, Son & Holy Spirit (1 John 5:7)
2) Man is sinful by nature because of the fall (Genesis 3, Romans 3:23 & 6:23)
3) God had to be made flesh in order to make atonement for our sins (Hebrews 2:17)
4) Eternal life is a free gift from God to all those who place their faith, trust & hope in Him alone for it?

If you agree with these 4 precepts.....there's a good chance I'll see you in heaven someday.

May God be praised.......

Our hope lies in heaven with Jesus Christ.......and that's where I'm going according to scripture.

Death is not the end.....it's the beginning.

I do believe in these 4 precepts, however, I also believe in a 5th precept that the Bible teaches that is contrary to your notion of seeing me in heaven someday: 5. Christian hope is ultimately in the Day of Judgment, when the dead will be resurrected, the living and the dead will be judged for their sins and unbelief, the non-believers will be cast into the lake of fire where they will experience eternal damnation and suffering and pain, the believers will be set apart to live eternally in the New Earth under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. There is no mention whatsoever of the believer dying and going to heaven in the Bible. Actually, that is a Gnostic idea from the 2nd Century AD, which is grounded in the idea that the material world is bad and the spiritual world is good, so our soul goes to heaven when we die but our body stays on earth and rots away. The thing is, Gnosticism was declared as heresy, not speaking truthfully about God and the Bible, by the Church back in the 2nd Century, so any of its beliefs that still resonate within the Church today, such as the one that you have suggested about seeing each other in heaven, are contrary to the testimony of God in the Bible. However, all that being said, I believe all of the other 4 points that you have presented.

1) God is not 3 different people. God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are completely different entities who are UNITED as one. They are not one person.
2)The 'fall' is when we learned what sin was, it did not cause sin.
3)Yes, God is flesh. However, it was Jesus who died and broke the bonds of death so we could gain bodies like God's when we are resurrected.
4)Eternal life is a free gift from God for everyone.
Whether you actually get to be With Him in the end depends on your faith, trust, and hope in Him. AND whether you follow His commandments and do good works etc as well as you possibly can.

There are 3 kingdoms in heaven.
Celestial: Where those who try the hardest (etc.) go, they are with God and Jesus.
Terrestial: Where people who didn't always try their hardest (etc.) go, they are with Jesus, not God.
Telestial: People who didn't do so good, liars, thieves, whoremongers, adulterers, etc. Cannot be with God or Christ.

Yes I believe them and add that the faith itself comes from Christ. Hebrews 12:2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. I look foreward to the day we will all meet there.

I do agree with these 4 truths. I don't know if I would say 3 distinct persons -I would probably use the word entities but that's just semantics soooooo........
I will look forward to seeing you at Dad's house after our work here is done <{{{>< ! Great question!

1.) No. There is one God. Not 3 distinct persons though. Only one being.
2.) Yes
3.) No
4.) Yes

1- Yes and No. I do believe that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are 3 distinct persons, but acting as one to bring to pass Their goal. They make up the Godhead, but are separate beings, separate persons, with God at the head and Christ and the Holy Spirit working with Him.

2- To a point. We are sinful, but that is what the atonement was for. Christ atoned for all our sins in the Garden. He bled His own blood for the sins I commit- that everyone commits- even ADAM AND EVE!!!! To me this means that we aren't held accountable for the sins of Adam, just our own, but we have a way, through the atonement to repent of our sins and it is like they never happened.

3- No. Christ and God aren't the same person. Christ is the Son of God, not God himself. If this were the case, Christ would be praying to himself and telling others that He was God. He never said that. He said He was God's Son, never God. See my scripture below. He talks about doing the will of HIS FATHER!!! Not His will. If they were the same person, Christ wouldn't say the will of His Father, he would say My Will!! Not only that, but if you believe they are 3 separate beings, how can you say that Christ and God are one person, or God made flesh? Isn't that a contradiction in itself?

4- Yes and No. Eternal life is a gift from God, if we choose to show God that we are worthy of that gift. Just saying you believe in Christ isn't enough. In Matthew 7:21-24 it says:
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock.

So it isn't through just saying you believe in Him, you have to live as you believe, and show God you do believe. It is through grace, and repentance that we gain eternal life. Not just believing that He exists, or that He atoned and died for me. We have to show God we believe in the sacrifice of Christ, that we will live according to that sacrifice. That means following the commandments, repenting as we need to and showing our fellow man love and charity. Refer to above mentioned scripture for this one too!!

You forgot to put the capital "T" on "truth", to distinguish these from things that are really true.

Be more careful next time, okay?
