For some reason I can't remember anything that happened in my life before I was 13 years old. I am thinking about trying hypnosis, but i heard that does not always work. Do you know of anything that does work? Thanks so much

I would get checked out by a neurologist to see if there is a problem. Even a 101 year old woman can remember back to elementary school. If no problem is found, then yes, consider hypnosis if this is important to you.

Health problems are the primary cause of memory lapses like this as well as medications and constant pain. Trauma can also do that, but I think the shrinks give too much credence to this.

Do not let someone you don't even know take away your mind control.I think that's more scary than not remembering.
Why remember past if it was bad.Are you a survivor of
bad childhood. If you need Professional help to live life happy.
Then go for that help.Journal everything your are going through now.And write all the memories that you have down on paper.Record yourself.Proof helps healing process.

well, maybe it's best not to remember, because you can easily get confused as to what is happening this very moment; with everything around you, so it would be smart to retain the experience of NOW instead of focusing brain energy to try and remember something that has already happened. it makes sense to me because i lose my focus if i'm concentrating on things that aren't really relevant to what is happening literally: RIGHT NOW!@@@ Just focus......
