to those that asked he must have rammed the door until it broke because its smashed in.
and i was still deciding on wether or not to breed her since she is papered but she is only a year and 4 months and if i do it will be when she is fully grown and not with the mut next door but thanks for the unhelpful opinions.

If it was no more than 8 minutes, it is not likely, as they would still have been tied when you found them. Was she acting receptive or staying away from him? After mating, the male will usually act quite subdued. If he was still trying to get at her, then they hadn't yet mated. .
However, if you decide that you are not going to breed, and don't want the risk of this being a litter, then you can safely have her spayed within the first 21 days of pregnancy and problem is solved.

It depends on the day in the heat cycle. The second week of the heat cycle is the most fertile. The third week the chances of pregnancy drops dramatically. Some signs of pregnancy is losing hair around the nipples increased appetite nasuae and shell get bigger in the stomach area. On the 35th day after the breeding you can take her to the vet and have her palpated. It cost me 40 dollars for the vet visit. Hell be able to tell you if she is pregnant or not. My two cockers tied for the same amount of time and shes now huge and due on the 4th and is about to have 5-6 puppies from one breeding. It depends on the male. It was an accidental breeding. He was around her for 2 minutes and they tied. You can get a test done through the blood. also but Id wait and see. If she starts losing the hair then she most likely is.

It's possible.... I had a friend who had two dogs that she was trying to keep apart because she did not want the female to get pregnant again (she had already had a couple litters and she wanted to give her a break) The male got to the female for just a few minutes and got the job done. I would just bring her to the vet to double check. And I agree with what someone else already wrote....talk to you neighbors about their dog!!!

Usually when dogs breed it takes anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes. When the male is finished they are usually "stuck" together for a few minutes. Sounds to me like you need to let your neighbors know that their dog is coming into your home, unwelcome. If you still have question contact your vet and get their opinion.

They have to tie and that can take a long time to finish copulation, but some dogs (like some men, lol) just don't take long.
Most likely she is not pregnant. However, It sounds like she is fertile, so at this time, anything is possible.
I would consult your vet. You should have her spayed before pregnancy (if any) establishes to prevent an event like this happening again. Not to mention the risks of mammary and ovarian cancer and pyometra, all very serious and potentially lethal conditions. And tell your neighbor to keep a better eye on his dog......

broken bones income rapidly from Western veterinary drugs; not fixing them top quickly after the trauma could have a foul result. considered one of my canines, a Borzoi, broke her back pastern/hock section (a bad wreck related to a twist of her foot in the sand into underlying rocks). The community vet X-ray and stabilised the leg, then the following day she had to bypass to a professional vet one hundred miles away who pinned the broken end of the bone and placed a forged on the the backside of the leg. Her pads poked out of the backside; and that i made her a sprint leather-based boot so as that she ought to hop alongside and keep it sparkling on a limited exercising regime. Six weeks later the forged replaced into off and altered by way of a help bandage, quickly she replaced into using the leg to stroll on lower back. So bypass to a Western vet to have the final scientific care and as with every forged, keep an eye fixed on the limb to substantiate circulate isn't impaired or infections are placing in. good success. upload: A hyperlink here for people who're unaware that canines additionally sweat via their paws.

what I am not clear is how can a dog break in the house when the door is locked. If she's in the last week of her cycle then she's not at the peak of her heat period. Your neighbors must not have an effective way to keep their dog in the yard and you should have your dog spayed if you're not intending to breed puppies.
