Well, i have sister she was the reason that i lost my job 6 month ago and i didn't speak to her ever since. I was mad at her so much because i had baby at the time when i lost my job because of her and it make it even harder to for give her what she've done. But now, 6 month later i forgive her but i can't forget so my question is did i have done right thing because it doesn't make me feel any better about it ...??

there is a difference between forgiving and forgetting. To forgive someone is to give up the resentment or blame. That doesn't mean that you have to forget what she did. I have forgiven some people for things, but i wont forget what they did.

It takes time to feel better about something or someone when it has affected you a great deal, especially when you have been mad for so long but you have taken the first step.

When you decide to forgive you also decide to forget- its quite hard to forgive and keep on pounding on the same problem. So take a load off your back and if you forgave her also forget what happen. Your better off, you'll feel spiritually lighter. Hope I Helped out. :-)

the good book says to forgive and forget....it is easy forgive someone but it is very hard to forget...just pray about it and see how things go from there
