Don't you realize how wrong you are when you begin statements with "Christians are always..." or "Every Christian.." ?
Those are falsifying True Christians and can be placed on the same level of racist remarks such as " All Blacks...", or sexist statements. Those are assumptions and don't stand well unless you have been around the world enough times to meet every single Christian.
Point being, True Christians don't do that. Our purpose is to tell the Gospel to whom we encounter, then leave it up to them to accept or reject. Plain and simple. From there it's up to that person. The next time you feel that you are being judged tell that person that they are making you uncomfortable.
I'm a Christian. I respect everyone, until they give me a reason not to. I'm not going to shove the Word down your throat, but I will defend it if attacked (which is mostly the case on this site). I will respect you, and you can no longer say Christians are always judging, bcuz I don't.

... Plus, for my fellow Christians. Thank you very much. I also want to warn you all to not be fooled. The bible tells us that there will be those who are imitation "Christians".
Watch out for them, and make sure you are quoting the word properly.
I hope the rest of the world see the dangers we face as being a Christian. Thank God our reward awaits us in heaven. God bless.

Tell it how it is! I'm a Christian as well and I'm tired of everyone always bashing us. I am normal, this might be a surprise to people who think all we do is go around nagging people about Jesus and The Word in general. I have seen first hand that we are in fact not the ones that go knocking on doors or dressing the same in a creepy fashion (no names mentioned) baggering about their beliefs. We just want to share like Jesus did and just like Him we will not over step boundaries, if you make it clear you don't want to hear it then just say the word and thats it. Leave us out of ever religious mess.

IT fortifies an argument, or conviction. It's always a been negative response to a well developed philosophy which can't be assailed, except with mindless hyperbole and ridicule.
All that person really wants is a reason to justify sin or some behavior that offends Islam, Judaim and Christianity.

You must be a brother! I agree totally with what you are saying. The word "christian" is overly used on this site. People are at the mindset that if they believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as their savior and king, then they must be a christian. That is just the basic and the start or being one. Knowledge, faith and works are what follows.

Thanks. It's frustrating when people proclaim that "all" Christians (or "all" Mormons, Muslims, Catholics, Jews or atheists) behave in a certain way. It's both amusing and very frustrating to see people post that "all" Christians embrace Fundamentalist beliefs, for instance, when thousands upon thousands of Christians decidedly do not. Christianity covers an extremely wide spectrum of belief from ultra-conservative to ultra-liberal and beyond, and to suggest that they're the same is just ridiculous.

You are right...generalizations are wrong. I prefer the use of the word "some". Maybe you can get "some" of your christian friends to do the same when they speak of atheists...seems "some christians" also like to generalize by using the term "all atheists". So maybe you could have a little chat with "some christians" about that very same topic. k?

Thank you!
Some people on here do have a very narrow minded view of Christians. While some people that claim to be Christian on here may fit perfectly the way they are described it does not mean every Christian is that way.

Of course you are right.
Generalizations always show the ignorance and bigotry of the speaker.
We see the same thing when some "christians" come to the LGBT area and preach hatred, bigotry, discrimination, prejudice and therefore violence against us. Many start by saying "All Gays.." or "All lesbians . . . ."
Of course, most of us realize that such hypocritical haters are a tiny, tiny but stridently vocal minority of all true Christians. We pray that they may return to Jesus' teachings of love, peace and justice, and altruism - for a change.
(Derb - I was being polite.) :o)
Thanks for the question!

What do you say to other Christians that have different opinions and call themselves "True Christians? "
Ask yourself why you feel the need to add " True " to your title of Christian.
Wide Awake said " Of course, most of us realize that such hypocritical haters are a tiny, tiny but stridently vocal minority of all true Christians "
Yeh right.
