what's the best way to open your third eye? exercise? spell? anything to help?

i want to learn how to open the third so i can expand my paranormal experiences and also because it is a requirement in my path. thanks

I will not disagree with anybodies answers here as some are really quite informative.. The information I have on Chakras would take me a week to type out..Just a couple of things 98% of people on this Planet don't and never will understand almost nothing of the place nor the language from which this Chakra speaks.. It usually opens with maturity at about ages 42 - 49.. Most people don't listen to the message /s that this Chakra gives, so we stay here on the Earth Plane for 10 - 20 life times because we keep forgetting why we came to Earth in the first place..Here is a book that I suggest anyone interested in Chakras should own---- Your Aura & Your Chakras (The Owners Manual) by Karla McLaren... I don't think you are ready to open your third eye if as you commented "exercise, SPELL or anything to help???" Because once your third eye is open the most important thing you must know is how to close it properly again. If it is truly a requirement in your path, then it will open anyway.
You can use meditation, such as focusing on a burning candle flame so that your mind doesn't wander, but be sure why you want it open. You know what they say:
"When the student is ready, the teacher will appear"

Spells are nothing to do with psychic and auric experiences, they are to influence other things. No spells for this one!

There are a lot of ways of doing this, but your third eye is only another name for your crown and brow chakra points linked together so you can "see" into the divine through your crown chakra, using your brow. It doesn't work in the way that it will increase paranormal experiences, but it will make you more aware of auric and paranormal activity.

-Lay on a flat surface with arms out and legs loosley apart. Close your eyes and breathe in the white light of the earth, and breath out the black blockage inside you- do this through your nose and concentrate the white light into your lungs and brow. You will feel that once it is full of white energy, you are attuned to the sixth sense.

-Sit with legs loosely crossed and hands on knees, eyes closed. Breathe deeply and use a mantra such as "The opening of the third eye so I can see beyond the now" seven times. then count back from seven, and you should feel light in your brow. If you open your eyes now, you will be able to see in triple vision, or in different colours. It takes some practice. alternatively, keep your eyes closed and focus on seeing primarily through that instead.

To close your third eye, or your gateway, you must let the light flow out and draw in yellow, or physical light. Then let it fade into your abdominal region and disappear. There is no light- only your physical self again. Count back from seven and open your eyes. Thank the nature for letting you borrow your energy and ask it to protect you until you are ready to gaze again.

Those are the most common ways. Others include opening all the chakra gates and using crystal energies. There are other more effective ways of increasing paranormal sensitivity though.
